Originally from Mexico City, I spent many years living in Morelia, Michoacan, and a city rich in arts, culture and unique architecture. Here was my introduction to the arts, specifically painting and drawing. In 1989 I came to the Twin Cities, rich in a distinct art; I encountered a new form of expression. I began to use watercolors, charcoal, and pastels to create artwork, which portrays beautiful flowers, landscapes, horses and ocean life. |
